Good to know
Frequently asked questions.
A few helpful details before you request a car. If your question is not answered here, tell us what you have in mind.
How do I reserve a car?+
Start by submitting a booking request through our website. We’ll review your request, confirm availability and reach out with any questions before providing a custom quote. Once you’re ready to book, we’ll send over your rental agreement and payment details. A signed agreement and 50% booking retainer are required to officially reserve your car, date and time. Please note that submitting an inquiry or receiving a quote does not hold your reservation.
When is payment due?+
A 50% retainer is required to reserve your car and date. The remaining balance is due 7 days before your reservation. If your booking is made within 7 days of your reservation date, full payment is due at the time of booking.
What is your cancellation policy?+
Your 50% booking retainer is non-refundable. If you cancel more than 7 days before your reservation, your retainer will be forfeited and no additional payment is required. Cancellations made within 7 days of your reservation are non-refundable.
Can I reschedule my reservation?+
We understand plans can change. Reservations may be rescheduled once with at least 48 hours’ notice, subject to vehicle availability. Your existing payments will be applied to the new date, which must take place within 90 days of your original reservation.
What happens if the weather doesn’t cooperate?+
If weather makes your photoshoot impractical or creates unsafe conditions for one of our vehicles, we’ll work with you to find a new date. Weather-related rescheduling is subject to vehicle availability.
What happens if a car has a mechanical issue?+
These are real vintage cars, and occasionally they can be temperamental. If your reserved vehicle becomes unavailable or can’t safely make it to your reservation, we’ll offer another available vehicle, a new date, or a refund for the unavailable vehicle.
What can the cars be used for?+
Our collection can be requested for weddings, engagements and proposals, photo shoots, film and video productions, corporate events, brand activations, special occasions, and vehicle displays.
What condition are the cars in?+
These are genuine classics, and each one has the character to prove it. You may notice small bumps, scratches, or other signs of age—details earned over the years that help tell each car’s story and make it one of a kind.
Is there a minimum amount of time?+
Photoshoots may be requested for one hour, with additional hours available for $100 each. Wedding and event timing and pricing are reviewed separately based on the details of your request.
Can visitors drive the cars?+
No. At this time, the vehicles are not available for customers or event guests to drive. Desert Line Classics handles all vehicle driving and repositioning.
How is final pricing determined?+
Final pricing depends on the selected vehicle, requested duration, event location, and optional services. We’ll provide a custom quote after reviewing your request.
Can I request more than one location or stop?+
Yes. Select Multiple Locations or Stops on the request form and share the planned locations in your message so we can account for timing and logistics.
Can the car be moved during the event?+
On-site vehicle repositioning and extended on-site standby can be requested as optional services. Include your ideal timeline so we can review what is possible.
Can we add a Just Married sign or decorations?+
A Just Married sign or other approved decorations can be requested. Please describe what you have in mind so we can confirm it is suitable for the selected car.
How is the travel radius calculated?+
The starting photoshoot rate includes delivery and pickup for locations within 10 miles of our Tucson base. Distance is calculated one way. Locations beyond 10 miles may still be available and may require an additional travel fee, which will be included in your custom quote.
